SoCS helps elementary and middle school girls/non-binary students immerse themselves in computer science with our unique curriculums for workshops and classes while also creating a strong and diverse community for fellow students interested in CS. From personal experience, our team knows the transition between drag and drop code (Scratch) to industry-standard development is difficult and often neglected in schools. SoCS hopes to help with this transition so students are not discouraged from a career path in CS.
